Hello friends,
We’ll be taking the time on Sunday to celebrate Pride; see you next Sunday morning, 9:00 to 10:15, for our regular Yoga meditation class.
Join me at the Meditation Center for a wonderful way to begin your weekend. We will practice prana-vidya hatha yoga, a contemplative approach to yoga asanas that emphasizes not only physical movement and awareness, but also awareness of the breath and subtle-body energies. Practice will end with a guided relaxation and meditation. Please reach out with any questions.
Friends, we won’t gather for our regularly schedule integrated Yoga meditation class this Sunday, February 5. Consider attending a wonderful hatha workshop with master teacher Desiree Rumbaugh from 10:30 to 1:00, hosted by the always-effervescent Ali Certain and held at One Yoga. Find more info from Ali.
We will not gather for our integrated Yoga meditation session on Sunday, September 25. Join me, instead, at the Meditation Center for a workshop with Milwaukee teacher Dr. Dale Buegel on the Samaya Path of Yoga, and understanding the role of the sahasrara cakra in Sri Vidya Tantra.
I am so happy to announce that our Sunday morning integrated Yoga meditation class (9:00 to 10:15 am) has a new home. We will meet for our ongoing class in space that is part of the Faith, Health, & Wellness Center @ Solomon’s Porch, 100 West 46th Street, in south Minneapolis (55419), one block or so west of Nicollet Avenue, on the northwest corner of Blaisdell Avenue and 46th Street. Many thanks to Katherine Kleingartner and the beautiful people of the Faith, Health, & Wellness Center for sharing their space.
The entrance is on 46th Street, under the awning and next to the Faith, Health, & Wellness Center sign. The space for Yoga Sanctuary is on the ground floor, but we will meet on the top floor. Once at the top of the stairs, go forward and our room is halfway down the hallway on the left.
As we settle into our new space, we’ll have more props, but for now, please bring a mat if you have one and your favorite meditation cushion. We will have chairs on hand for those who do not have meditation cushions.
